This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by INC Business Lawyers.

How We Protect Your Information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site (if any; at present only comments are stored on the website).

What About Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information?

We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights. We may also disclose account information when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of Service or to protect the safety of our users and the Public. All law firms in British Columbia are subject to regulation by The Law Society of British Columbia, which has statutory powers of search and seizure over almost all information in a law firm’s possession. However, the Law Society itself is under certain obligations to keep information that it obtains confidential, unless further disclosure is required by law.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Acquisition or Changes in Ownership

If the practice of INC Business Lawyers or the Site (or a substantial portion of its assets) is acquired, User information would be considered part of those assets, and may be part of those assets that are transferred.
